What is a popular color for the kitchen nowadays? I have a galley style kitchen with maple wood cabinets.?

It is an 8x17 kitchen with no dining room. Above average lighting with 9ft ceilings. Currently has wood stained trims but am considering repainting them.

1. we have dark wood cabinets (that we ended up restaining darker that look alot better than it did before because part of our kitchen caught on fire from the stove) we have above and below cabinets black sink, oven, microwave, TV (flat screen in the corner by the breakfast area (really where we have our dinning room table since we use the dinning room as an office))and black fridge. brown table with brown chairs all wood. then we have a china corner shelf thing with glass windows on it...with mirrors in the back. with a light in the top. we have white blinds and brown curtain hangers (my mom hasnt gotten to the curtains yet but idk if we are going to ahve any.) we have box windows so my mom puts lots of plants (ivys) and like little things like Old Tea metal boxes that happen to have our last name on it. pictures, lots of Iron type things and ontop of our cabinets we have fake grapes in old copper pots we got from hobby lobby and fake apples and pears and things like that...green leafy stuff. things like that bowls hobby lobby is where we got most of it. things with coffee beans in it helps a lot oh and to asnwer you question more like maroons and browns and things like that we just have ours painted like the rest of the main house that is a light beige
