Kitchen Ideas Faqs

What lighting should i use in a kitchen with a plank ceiling?

I am remodeling a 1930s home with the original plank and beam ceiling. I'd like to put halogen lighting in the kitchen but am not sure what type of lighting I can use. The electrician has suggested track lighting, but i'd prefer something less obtrusive. there appears to be approx. 3 inches of space above the planks. does anyone have experience with this type of ceiling?

  1. You can use fluorescent lamb, the one that is oblong. You can support the proportional substructure of fluorescent lamb at the planks of your ceiling. Usually, fluorescent lambs transmit a bride white light.
