What type of strip undercabinet lighting is reliable to purchase for the kitchen?

1. depends on your budget. Best bang for the buck is Halogen, but they do consume more electricity and produce more heat. Flourescents are cheap and gives out a poor quality light. The more expensive option will be to use Xenon, great light, low heat, but pricey.
