Im having recessed can lights installed in my kitchen. How many sq ft will each light cover?

1. think about the wattage, 4 or 6 recess lights usually does the average kitchen, depends on how big your kitchen is really
2. If you look at the box it should have a beam spread diagram. It will show you how much area is covered by each light. It is based on the height of your ceiling and countertop. I would do a little sketch of your kitchen layout and go from that.
