Where can I find ANY kitchen accessories (cookie jar, dish towels, etc) with the Eiffel Tower/Paris them? I am decorating my kitchen in the Eiffel Tower theme. I have plates and things for my dining area; however, I am having a difficult time finding kitchen items - such as: a cookie (or treat) jar, dish towels (black & creme or white), pot holders...things like these that would normally be on display in a kitchen, only with the Paris theme. Newlywed and looking for kitchen accessories? I've got the pots and pans and now I need knives! I don't really want the whole block set, just a good paring knife and a couple of chef's knives. I know that good ones are expensive but I also know that just because it's expensive it doesn't mean that it's good. Any advice and good brands and kinds to get would be great!
Where do I find sources of stainless steel kitchen building accessories? I am having an outdoor kitchen built. It will have a stainless grill, refrigerator, and sink. I also want to install a stainless ice drawer and some other generic stainless doors/drawers. Who sells these types of items, specifically, what companies offer them? (I found some offered on Amazon, but not by the manufacturer, only a middle-man mail-order house. The local grill boutiques don't deal with the kitchen construction items.) I want to buy ready-made, not custom-built, to keep prices affordable.

My kitchen is almost done - cabinets are light/medium oak color, countertops and sink are medium gray marble-ish, flooring contains shades of lighter gray marble-ish, walls and ceiling are painted white, appliances are white. I'm going to make curtains and purchase/create accessories. What color choices should I go with for the curtains and accessories? Kitchen Accessories in GREEN COLOUR. ? I am redoing my whole house (windows, heating, plastering, rewiring basically everything) and so when it comes down to things like accessories I need to find CHEAP things! I really want light green (not quite lime) dishes and accessories for my kitchen. Does anyone know where I can find them? I can only find places that sell one mug for £8 or something like that!! I want a 6-8 piece dinner set so that kind of pricing is ridiculous for me. I also like the idea of black/red for my kitchen and I can find really cheap accessories but dislike that its very common now. Do u think I should just go for the cheaper option? Ideas For a Retro 50's/60's Style Kitchen! I already have had everything in silver/chrome & want to update in a few months i will be tiling the kitchen wall, im thinking black and white tiles on one wall. My fridge freezer, cooker, washing machine & dishwasher are all silver. I am thinking of brightening up the kitchen with new funky accessories. Can you suggest a paint colour to go with a new kitchen that has walnut units and black shiny worktops? As I said the units are walnut with long silver handles. The appliances are silver. The worktops are black marble. All the accessories are silver/black, so I feel the walls need a colour to compliment the kitchen. I'm not keen on anything too dramatic because it's not very big. Just something subtle. Also, do you think it's strange to have framed pictures in a kitchen?
Why can't you paint your kitchen walls green? I just recently purchased a home and the kitchen was all wood - wood paneling and cabinets. I have painted the cabinets white and wanted to paint the walls green. The color I have chosen was a sage green - not a really green green color. Everybody tells me that you are not supposed to paint your kitchen green. What do you think? If so, any suggestions on colors. My countertop is a creme, cabinets white, floor is brick and accessories is sunflowers. I am open to almost anything and I am ready to end this ongoing project.

Help makeover my kitchen!! Renting home so limited on what I can do. kitchen is retangular shape.? walls are painted butter cream yellow with white trim. the cabinets are L shaped, window over sink. double window on same wall but at opposite end. at one end of room is door to carport other end of room opens to hall and opposite side of sink (long wall) is an opening to living room.. cabinets are white. floor is neutral. I would like to really add some spunk to this kitchen. with color and design. as well as accesories. this is the room all the company enter into. and is the most used room in the house. A few questions about painting my kitchen? I am on my way to go buy the supplies to paint my kitchen. The walls currently have Kilz oil based primer on them (over several layers of unidentified white paint). The walls are textured and don't need any repairs. My questions are: 1) What kind of paint is best on textured walls? I was thinking about using matte. Is this ok? Oil or latex? Fumes aren't an issue. 2) What color should I use? My cabinets are white, my counters are a pale greyish blue, and my floors are a dark reddish brown wood laminate. All the trim, accessories, and curtains are white. I can't decide between light yellow and a blue that is a few shades darker than my counters (kind of a stormy ocean blue-grey). I like the blue a lot but I'm afraid it may make it look gloomy (and also require more coats than the yellow). 3) What supplies do I need to buy? How much paint will it take to cover a room that is approx 13x18 with 8ft ceilings? Sorry for the long question. Thanks in advance for your help

What color furniture for brown sofa and blue accent color (a silver accessories)? I recently purchased my first home. I bought a brown sofa and the accent color is a nice blue. There are also some silver accents throughout the area. The home has an open floor plan, so the kitchen sits off the dining area. The kitchen has light wood cabinets. I need a dining table and an entertainment center (flat screen tv stand w/ two towers). I saw a a black dining set and tv stand which I love, but wasn't sure if they would work with my color scheme. What is the best Portable GRILL that can be used in the kitchen? I live in an apartment complex where there is no place to do the traditional/outdoor grilling! I have only used the outdoor type and and for the amount of smoke they produce, they can't be used inside the house. Homeowners, how much (roughly) did you spend on decorating your home? I just bought my first home and its a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 2 level home, 1700 sq ft. Should kitchen cabinet knobs and lighting match appliances? I am sprucing up my kitchen. The cabinets are an oak color. I'm adding new ceramic floors (probably like Roman gold or American Olean Hazelnut - still debating that). My fridge is stainless steel. I'll be adding a stainless steel stove and eventually as money permits a matching microhood and dishwasher. I need new lighting and am going with track lighting to spread the light around. In the eat in, I'm changing the pendant to another (it's awful gold and frosted dome now). I'm also adding knobs to the cabinets. Question: I like the dark bronze lights. Should the lights match the appliances in a nickel or something? Should the knobs also match the appliances? I'm thinking the dark color lends to the floor, cabinet and wall color, but I'm not sure if they will have to match the appliances? FYI: the kitchen accessories are red.

I need help on a kitchen idea?!? I am looking for a "theme" of sorts, without doing the same ole thing you see in everyone's kitchen. My dishes and accessories are these colors: hunter green, olive green, black, brown, and tan. Any neutrals would be perfect, but I'm not sure of what to get. I was reading in an earlier post and liked the pottery idea. I have lots of cabinet top and wall space for decor and currently there is just ivy there. I need other ideas to brainstorm and still keep my colors as the dishes, etc are fairly new. thanks! I understand the importance of a theme not changing but the dishes will. However, I am sick of what I have in my kitchen at the moment but can't really afford to buy all new canisters, dishes, etc right now, which is why I'm trying to come up with something that will allow me to keep everything I have but be able to redecorate.
